Stuck in the middle-age rut? Meet Tony & Judy Pringle!

Tony and JudyAs a middle aged couple Tony & I were looking for something to do other than the same old thing, getting up, going to work, and home again.

Tony was a Bus Operator with Brisbane City Council and I was Customer Service Officer with the Health Insurance Commission. (We needed to break the cycle!) So we had a look at the course and loved what we saw, and it was something we could do together. With the children grown up and doing their own thing, we thought this was a great opportunity for us to travel and to help others by sharing our knowledge.

The trainers and staff at Teach International have been so helpful, as it’s been a lot of years since we had been to school and we needed all the help we could muster. They have been terrific.

We are leaving for China in a couple of days and are very excited and might I say - so are the children: they are having a white Christmas in China. What an opportunity.

It’s a big decision; however if you want a change, take 6-12 months for you. --JUST DO IT.

Update:

Just thought we would let you all know what is happening. Our school is the Pinchao Senior Middle School, Nantong, Jiangsu Province. We arrived here officially on Saturday 23rd Aug. A lovely 2 bedroom apartment, fully air-conditioned, furniture, and the people are just awesome, so very helpful. We start school on Monday 1st. At this stage Tony is teaching junior 3 ( because he speaks slower than I ) I have senior 1. Between us we teach 30 hrs a week, and have 60 students per class. Wow, is that going to be handful or what. EASY says Tony.

Guess what? It seems I am married to a movie star. Everybody keeps staring at Tony. I thought it was the baldness & the hairy body, but no, it seems he looks like someone in the movies here.
